What data is collected

• Forms: name, company name, a description of what the business does, phone number, email address and message, depending on what you write yourself.
• Visitor statistics (only with consent): Google Analytics 4 collects information about how the website is used, such as pages viewed, device type, approximate location and clicks on the phone number, email and action buttons.

Why the data is processed

Form data is used only to reply to your enquiry and to prepare a possible contract (legal basis: pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest). Visitor statistics are used to improve the website (legal basis: consent).

How long the data is kept

• Forms: the message arrives in my email, where it is kept for as long as handling the enquiry or quote requires, at most two years from the last contact.
• Visitor statistics: Google Analytics user-level data is deleted automatically, after 14 months at most.
• Customer relationship and billing: accounting records are kept for the period required by the Finnish Accounting Act.

Who the data is disclosed to

Data is not sold or disclosed for marketing. I use these service providers:

• UpCloud: the website server.
• Nordweb: the email service where form messages are delivered.

Google Analytics data is processed by Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred outside the EU on the basis of Google's standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

• ym_consent (necessary): stores your cookie choice for 180 days.
• _ga and _ga_* (analytics, only with consent): Google Analytics cookies that tell visits apart. Valid for 2 years at most.

No advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time.
