I write the copy and make a draft of your website within a week. You comment, and I adjust it until it feels like yours. You are not committing to anything yet.

Questions before you start
What do I get for €12.90 a month?
A one-page website for your business, hosting, updates, backups, a TLS certificate, SEO basics and technical support. Maintenance does not use up hours, and there is no separate bill for it. The price excludes value added tax (0% VAT), and VAT is added to the invoice.
What does a free start mean?
There is no setup fee, and I make a draft of your website for free. You see the draft before you decide anything. The first 14 days after publication are free. If you cancel during that time, you pay nothing.
Am I committing to anything?
Not until the website is published and you have seen it working. The first 14 days after publication are free. If you cancel during that time, you pay nothing. If you do not cancel, the contract continues after the trial one month at a time, or 12 months at a time if you choose annual billing. I will send you a reminder 2 days before the trial ends, so the decision does not slip your mind.
Prices are with annual billing, which means a contract term of 12 months: a one-page website €154.80 per year + VAT (€12.90/month). With monthly billing the price is €3 a month more (€15.90/month), and the contract continues one month at a time with no commitment. Unless you choose otherwise, billing is monthly. To cancel, just let me know. With monthly billing the contract ends at the end of the current month, with annual billing at the end of the current contract term. If you wish, the website can be taken down and its traffic redirected to another address even before that.
How much do I have to do myself?
Not much. You tell me about your business and services and send photos if you have any. I write the copy, and you comment on the draft. The technology, publishing and maintenance are my responsibility.
Will the website show up on Google?
The website is built so that Google can read and understand it: headings, descriptions, a clear structure, speed and business details in a form search engines understand. I do not promise rankings, because nobody can honestly promise them. Read more about visibility.
Can I trust a one-person business?
My day job is software development: I am a full stack developer at Jopox Oy, and before that I was a web developer at Hilla Group Oyj. I run Ylimäki Media alongside a salaried job, which is why I take on a limited number of clients. That way I can look after each one properly. The domain name is always registered in your name, and during the trial you see for yourself whether working together suits you before you pay anything.
